Caring for the most vulnerable

Educating, informing, caring and protecting

AMCARE was established in 2001 by the Alberton Methodist Church as a community outreach programme.
It was decided to provide a Victim Empowerment Programme, comprehensive HIV and Aids services and Skills Development Services. Today, operating independently but in association with the Methodist Church of Southern Africa, AMCARE achieves the seemingly impossible with activities extending from Alberton to Thokoza, Eden Park, Phola Park and the Squatter Camps of Greenfields and Thinazonke

AMCARE is a multi-purpose health and social development organization servicing poor and vulnerable persons in the Greater Alberton area of Ekurhuleni. We are a registered NPO with the Department of Social Development.

We render a variety of services to poor and vulnerable people ranging from advocating and protecting victims of domestic violence to caring and support of Orphaned and Vulnerable children to rendering psycho social support to elderly residents in the greater Alberton area. Supplementing the services we also offer training and
skills development to empower the individuals we serve.

Amcare needs your help! There are many ways for you to get involved.

From donations, events, sponsorships or your time!
